Baltic Way update

On July 30, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) approved the nomination of the Baltic Way to be included in the Memory of the World Register in the 20^th anniversary since the event took place (see information attached in pdf format).The nomination was prepared by Museum of the Popular Front of Latvia in cooperation with colleagues from other institutions as well as Estonia and Lithuania. Additional information and materials about the Baltic Way is found on the website www.balticway.net (banner of the webpage is attached).

In the www.balticway.net under section "News" a list of commemoration events taking place in all Baltic countries is found that might be useful for "Events" section of your website.

Furthermore there is virtual photo exhibition and presentation prepared about the Baltic Way. Both can be found on website www.latvia.lv main section. If you find them interesting and useful, I can send proper files to be used for your website.
