The V Festival takes place simultaneously in two locations: Highlands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park Staffordshire The very first Virgin festival was held in 1996 and is the only event of its kind to be staged at two sites over the same weekend where the artists swap venues overnight.
