Europe Direct Relay at South Devon College

South Devon College relocated to the new campus in 2005 and has state of the art facilities for learners.

It has recently become a Europe Direct Relay Centre, with a designated area of the Learning Resource Centre containing a PC, a phone line to Brussels and plenty of information - from booklets to large publications and maps. Staff are trained to assist anyone who needs help to access these facilities.

The main focus is on providing a service to the College's students and tutors but with strong links to local businesses, the relay also hopes to attract their attention and promote the use of the facilities provided.

The centre was opened in November 2006 by Greta Hopkins, Regional Manager for the European Commission in the United Kingdom. South West MEP Graham Watson and Steve Southcott, International Trade Advisor from Business Link Devon & Cornwall were amongst the 29 people in attendance.
