The festival created by musicians Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, more commonly known as Groove Armada, Lovebox, brings summer festivals into the heart of London. The festival has its roots in Groove Armada's sell- out club nights across London venues and it has grown into one of the best known summer events in London.

The weekend brings Manu Chao, Goldfrapp, Dandy Warhol, The Go!Team, Flaming Lips, and Groove Armada on stage in East End's oldest park.

The festival is being organised for the seventh time, and it has grown to include eight venues and the legendary carnival. So far it has attracted 200 000 guests and this year is set to be the biggest and best yet.

Other musical treats include Roni Size, Stanton Warriors and Sebastien Tellier. The foodstalls and Farmer's Market are worth the visit in themselves.

Lovebox London Weekender takes place in Victoria Park, Hackney in East London on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July. Gates open at 12 noon and close at 10.30pm with after-parties happening around London until the early hours
