Description
This is a pan-European networking association whose main "raison d'etre" is the presentation of the Award
attributed annually in each of the Member States of the EU to a woman with a "European State of Mind" in
recognition of her outstanding voluntary contribution towards European integration. The Association will
also suggest speakers from its international membership on European issues which might affect women.
At international level, conferences are organised every couple of years; participation and publications are
available to the general public. At a national level, members receive a regular newsletter which includes
details of all activities, such as conferences and meetings,organised during the year.
Nominations for the Award are sought each year the closing date being end September. A nomination form
can be obtained from Alison Parry.
