Description
European Documentation Centres receive one copy of the majority of European Union publications, including a comprehensive collection of the Official Journal and COM docs. The staff will facilitate use of the collection by the higher education community and general public but will not undertake research on their behalf. They welcome enquiries in person, by telephone, email or fax. Enquirers should check opening hours and access arrangements before they visit, however. It should also be noted that public access to electronic resources is not permitted by academic licensing agreements. All of the EDCs in the East Midlands include their EDC collections in their web-based library catalogues.
