British Czech and Slovak Association’s 2007 writing competition

There is still time (just) to encourage someone to enter the British Czech and Slovak Association's 2007 writing competition.

The BCSA are offering a first prize of £300 and a second prize of £100 for the best pieces of original writing relating to the links between Britain and the Czech and Slovak Republics, or describing society in transition in the Republics since the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Entries may be works of fiction or on factual subjects. Entries should be in English and of 1,500 to 2,000 words. The closing date is 30 June. Entry is free.

Authors may be of any age, nationality or educational background.
