The City Business Library is a local authority public reference library provided by the City of London Corporation and is open to all without charge or formality. There is a comprehensive collection of directories published in Britain and a wide range from overseas, as well as economic data, company information, and market research. Business topics such as management, law, banking, insurance, statistics and investment are well represented. Business and trade periodicals and newspapers are taken. The Library also offers a fee-based research service, Business Information Focus (tel. 020 7332 1240; or e-mail focus@cityoflondon.gov.uk), and free public internet access bookable up to 24 hours in advance.
